On Valentine’s Day, Wednesday February 14th, Chef Jason and his team will be travelling to Leland, Mississippi to pop-up Carrollton Market at the former Vince’s Restaurant.  Instead of offering a totally fixed, banquet-style menu, Chef Jason wanted to create more of a restaurant-type environment for our guests.  For that reason, we will be offering a limited a la carte menu featuring a choice of an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert from the following delectable items.

Appetizers:

Oysters Goodenough: Flash-fried Gulf Oysters with Creamed Leeks, Benton’s Bacon and Bearnaise

Pecan-smoked Redfish: Pepper Jelly, Creme Fraiche, Cajun Caviar, Sweet Corn Pancake

Louisiana Blue Crab Salad: Tarragon Aioli, Shaved Fennel, Cherry Tomato, Potato Chips

Entrees:

Slow-Roasted Pork Belly: Stoneground Corn Grits, Haricots Verts, Poirier’s Cane Syrup

Smoky Confit Duck Leg: Bourbon Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Braised Greens, Pecan Caramel Gastrique

Potato-crusted Redfish: Stewed Field Pea and Ham Shank Ragout, Shellfish-Vermouth Emulsion

Desserts:

Black and White Bread Pudding: White Chocolate Sauce, Chantilly Cream

Buttermilk Panna Cotta: Ponchatoula Strawberry Compote, Candied Pecans

 

Tickets will be available at Montage Marketplace after 3pm on January 15th.  They will be available at Planters Bank after 10am on January 16th.  We hope to see y’all there!
